Strengths: Lowellville is a nice area that has an abundance of radio stations for its citizens to tune into. The area also seems to provide a few options as far as telephone and television companies are concerned. They are not limited to just one or two options. This village also has access to many different hotlines to helps those in need, whether they need help because they are being abused or feel like they want to commit suicide. There are plenty of ways for the citizens of this town to stay informed about what is going on not only their community, but also in other areas as well.
Weaknesses: Although Lowellville is doing well with its communication, there are a few areas that seem to be lacking. One such area is in the newspaper. The newspaper that is produced is only printed once a week, where as in other areas, such as Boardman, a newspaper comes out daily. The newspaper in the village is also not brought directly to the residents’ door. They must seek it out at a nearby store if they wish to purchase and read it. Another area of weakness that was discovered, is the lack of medical media. Lowellville does not have any informative or educational billboards located anywhere in the town. Residents or people passing through do not come across an interesting health facts or the number of a suicide hotline that might be beneficial to someone.
